Drone Video Captures Deadly Hoarding Home Fire in Faulkner, MD

The bodies of two men were recovered after firefighters battled the fire amid hoarding conditions in Faulkner.

Two men died in a stubborn fire in a hoarder home in Faulkner on Thursday.

Firefighters from Maryland and Virginia responded to the fire, which was reported shortly after 6 a.m. on Brunswick Road, according to SOMDNews.com.

Officials said one person was able to escape the burning structure.

Video from ScanMD Fire & Rescue Solutions shows firefighters working around the home, in a debris-filled yard which included vehicles, trailers and appliances. 

After bringing the fire under control, firefighters found the bodies of two men, ages 62 and 70.

The fire marshal's office said they were unsure of the smoke alarms they found were working. 

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
